Hannah Oelschlager
MS1 Medical Student
Hannah is a first-year medical student at Carle Illinois College of Medicine. She completed her bachelor’s in chemistry at Northwestern University where she investigated small molecule inhibitors targeting pancreatic cancer with Professor Karl Scheidt. In her gap year, Hannah supported Dr. Kei Ouchi’s research on advance care planning in the emergency department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Her current research with Dr. Laukaitis focuses on identifying genetic variants related to clinical presentations of hEDS.
