Maureen Galindo
Genetics Doctoral Student
Maureen is a PhD student at the University of Arizona in the Genetics Graduate Interdisciplinary Program. She is in the final stages of her dissertation - investigating TNXB related hypermobility. She is focussed on identifying better ways to assess this region of the genome to promote accurate diagnostic methods so we better understand how many individuals with hypermobility have variants in TNXB. Additionally, Maureen is a pediatric genetic registered nurse with more than 10 years of experience guiding families with rare disease through their diagnostic odysseys.
